Curious about weddings or special events at the Home Event Center? Unclear about our services or the vendors we work with? We’re here to help. Below you’ll find some frequently asked questions we receive from many of our clients. We’ve tried to answer all of your questions and concerns, but please get in touch if you still can’t find what you’re looking for. One of our staff members will be sure to help you out.

How many people can this location accommodate?
The venue holds 300 people with tables and chairs, or 500 people for standing. If you want to see both of our floor plans, please check out our gallery here.
Is there an overtime fee if we stay at the HEC longer? We really like to party.
We love to party too! Depending on availability you can extend your time for $150 per hour.
How much is the deposit, when is it due, and is it refundable?
The deposit is due at the time of reservation and is also refundable. The price of the deposit depends on the event, but it ranges from $500-1,000.
What's the payment plan for the entire bill? What forms of payment do you accept?
Full payment is due 60 days prior to the event. We accept Venmo, Zelle, and check.
Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?
There is a newly renovated Bridal Suite and Groomsmen Suite! Check out the gallery!
Are tables, linens, chairs, plates, silverware, and glassware provided, or will I have to rent them myself or get them through my caterer?
Tables and chairs are provided. Our VIP wedding package covers table and chair set-up and tear-down, while our DIY wedding package is… well… DIY on the tables and chairs. We do not provide linens, plates, silverware, glassware, etc.

What's the deal with alcohol?
We have two options for liquor depending what your goals are for your wedding:
1. BYOB - you are allowed to bring in your own booze
2. Order a liquor package from us. See our liquor package add-ons here
Can I hire my own vendors, or do we need to stick to a preferred vendor list?
We need to approve vendors. Let us know whom you would like to use, and we will contact them for approval!
Are there any noise restrictions?
Nothing past midnight.
